This is just a quick post to say MEGA CONGRATULATIONS to my boss Peter Tatchell on winning the Lifetime Achievers Award at the National Diversity Awards last night (Friday 21 September).
The National Diversity Awards are designed to showcase the efforts of those who have demonstrated an outstanding devotion to enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion within today’s society; thus embracing the excellence of all our citizens irrespective or race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability and culture.

I wanted to congratulate Peter on winning the Lifetime Achievers Award. It is so well deserved. Peter works so hard and does such amazing work. He pushes himself to the limit and is so passionate about helping others and fighting for equality and justice around the world. He is the change I wish to see in the world.
Peter would have wanted the photo above because he is always saying that it is all about the message. I agree that the message should be paramount but I also like photos that reveal something about the person. So I am also going to include the photo below of Peter - I think it reveals a side of him that is rarely covered in the media.
