Mark Gatiss and Gawn Grainger in Conversation

Cut and pasted from an email from the Donmar Warehouse:

On Wednesday 11 April, The Recruiting Officer’s Mark Gatiss will be talking to fellow cast member Gawn Grainger about his prolific career both on stage and screen.

With a career spanning over 60 years, Gawn Grainger began acting at the age of twelve as the Boy Prince in Ivor Novello's King's Rhapsody, and has gone on to become one of Britain’s leading actors. A friend of Laurence Olivier, Gawn joined Olivier’s National Theatre company at the Old Vic in 1972. His extensive stage credits include The Misanthrope, Hamlet and The Seagull at the National Theatre, as well as The Recruiting Officer, Fool for Love and Tales from Hollywood at the Donmar.

Star of the groundbreaking comedy The League of Gentlemen, Mark Gatiss’s recent stage work includes All About My Mother (Old Vic) and Season’s Greetings (NT). Having been enthralled by the stories of Gawn’s theatrical career, Mark is delighted to now have the opportunity to share them with our audience.
