Travelling Light, National Theatre, directed by Nick Hytner

On watching this for the second time today, as part of NT Live, I realised that in my original review I had completely missed out one key strand of the play and the production and that is the love story between Motl Mendl (Damien Molony) and Anna Mazowiecka (Lauren O'Neil).

I always intended to revisit my review. This gives me a good excuse to do just that!

My imperfect review is here, but I will be updating it over the next couple of months:
The reason for waiting a few months is I will be seeing this again at the National, but only when it has returned from its UK tour.

Travelling Light is touring to the following places:

13 – 17 March
The Lowry, Salford

20 – 24 March
Grand Theatre, Leeds

27 – 31 March
Waterside Theatre, Aylesbury

3 – 7 April
Theatre Royal, Newcastle.

It returns to the National on 24 April and then continues in rep until 2 June.
