Whilst I was up in Stratford-upon-Avon on 30 and 31 December, I paid my first visit to Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare's Church), where Shakespeare was baptised and where he is buried. I really enjoyed my visit - it has an excellent gift shop.
One of the images that really spoke to me, and that I took away with me by taking the photo above, has nothing whatsoever to do with the Church's Shakespearean connections. It is an image of the Risen Christ which I think is absolutely stunning.
Sadly, there is absolutely no information about it in the Guidebook to Holy Trinity Church, but I think it is beautiful.
