What are the Whatsonstage.com Awards?

The Whatsonstage.com Awards, the “theatregoers’ choice”, are the only major theatre awards in which you, the audience, are the judges across all categories. Key dates for the 2013 Awards (covering the 2012 theatre year) are: 1 November - nominations open; 30 November - nominations close; 7 December - Launch party, shortlists announced, voting opens; 31 January - Voting closes; and 17 February - Awards Ceremony and Concert, winners announced.

The ceremony starts at 7pm and is taking place at the Palace Theatre. I have a ticket way up in the cheap seats in the balcony!

You can read up about the Awards on its dedicated website (where the ceremony will also be livestreamed):

The Twitter hashtag is #WOSAWARDS.
