Today (15 January) is Dr Martin Luther King's Birthday.

Martin Luther King, Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American clergyman, activist, and prominent leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience.

2013 is the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech which he gave in 1963. You can read the full text of his speech here, courtesy Lee Jasper:
