Tomorrow, on the TUC's "A Future That Works" March and Rally, I will be joining CND in a joint CND / Stop the War anti-war contingent.

Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament: Cut Trident – not Jobs, Health and Education
CND will be leading a Cut Trident bloc at the TUC’s "A Future That Works" March on 20th October.
* 11am, Saturday 20 October
* Assemble at HMS President on Victoria Embankment

We will be joining the rest of the anti-cuts movement in demanding the government Cut Trident – not Jobs, Health and Education. We want sustainable growth for Britain not money spent on Trident - now costing over £2.2 billion a year and over £100 billion on Trident replacement if it goes ahead. The Government is slashing vital public spending but what we want is an end to waste on nuclear weapons and war.

Cut and pasted from the Stop the War Website:
Hundreds of thousands of trade unionists will march through London on Saturday 20 October to protest at cuts, austerity and unemployment.
Stop the War Coalition will be there as well, alongside the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, as part of an international contingent from across Europe who are fighting austerity.
Our slogan with be Cut War Not Welfare - Cut Trident Not Public Services.
Join Stop the War and CND, as part of the international anti-war contingent on the TUC anti-austerity march.
The war in Afghanistan will cost £20 billion over the next four years - exactly the amount that the Government is trying to cut from the National Health Service through 'savings'.

I get to wear one of these!
