This is something that I have been meaning to talk about for a long time and it is SECRET CINEMA.
Secret Cinema is a "gathering of all that love challenging and groundbreaking cinema, screening mystery films in extraordinary locations". The idea is that the audience does not know the location or the name of the film that is being screened in advance. It takes place in unusual venues that can range from a 5 star hotel car park to a London graveyard. The whole event will be themed around the film and can include sets and actors improvising to recreate the film’s plotline.

It used to be a lot cheaper. It is now a lot more expensive. However, I am highly recommending it as a way to experience film in a innovative and ground-breaking way. I have been to several of their events - Blade Runner, Lawrence of Arabia, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and The Red Shoes.

I am going to their next event - they are running it throughout December and January. Forget those naff New Year's Eve Parties and go to this instead!
