Once more I am drawn to this beautiful poster... :-))

Do you know that Benedict and Tom are both nominees for the same BIFA best supporting actor award for their respective roles in TTSS? I couldn't choose between them in that film.

Obviously, I agree 100% with your comment re the poster which is why I have put it on the sidebar!

You know my feelings re TTSS. I don't think that film deserves any awards! And I would much rather Benedict and Tom get the award for their work in other films. Grumpy of Streatham!

Coming at it from a different angle, as someone who really loved the film, I just don't think it fair to single out any of the actors from what was essentially an ensemble piece. To me, Colin Firth and Mark Strong's performances at the very least would need to be included as equal to those of Benedict and Tom's. For the same reason, I don't think Gary Oldman should be singled out in the lead actor award category. But I hope that the film garners some gongs during the awards season. I won't begrudge either director Tomas Alfredson or the film overall. :-))
