Dear Ms Patel

On behalf of Professor Chris Jenks, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Brunel University, I am delighted to enclose an invitation for you and a guest to join us for a special Donor Thank You Reception to be held at Brunel University, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 3PH.

Please join us on Thursday 14 April at 6.00pm for a drinks reception followed by supper.

During the evening there will be presentations which highlight the valuable impact of donor support. There will also be an opportunity to personally meet students who have benefitted from Scholarships, an exhibition of achievements and news from around Brunel showing how the University is enriched by our supporters.

Professor Jenks will be unveiling our recently commissioned Donor Book of Gifts in honour of all our supporters. We will also be joined by Paul Dickenson, BBC Sports commentator, who will give the vote of thanks.

We plan to include the names of our supporters and donors in the Book of Gifts apart from those who have already indicated a wish to give anonymously – if you do not wish to be included please let us know by Tuesday 1 March.

We do hope that you will be able to join us so that we might thank you personally for your support of Brunel University and we look forward to seeing you on Thursday 14 April.

If you would like to join us please RSVP.

Yours sincerely

Development Office

I am a keen supporter of Brunel University, and a passionate advocate for it - I am going to the drinks reception and the supper and I am really looking forward to hearing more about Brunel from its students.
