And best musical Sweeney Todd! :-))

Yes, I know! I only gave a special mention to those productions that have, and always will have, a special place in my heart!

Sweeney Todd was the only winner from the Evening Standard Theatre Awards list that I actually saw! Apart from parts of the Olympic opening ceremony on the telly of course. Mea culpa. I even missed the NT Live screening of Timon of Athens. :-/

Sweeney Todd has a special place in my heart thanks to the Tim Burton film that first drew me into this Sondheim musical. I was really pleased to be able to see a first class live theatrical performance of it for the first time this year. :-)
