Raks's Says: This is right up my street. An attractive all-male cast. Themes of the Army and War. I have got my ticket in - I suggest you do the same!

Cut and pasted from the Our Boys Website:

Our Boys, Duchess Theatre
Wednesday 26 September to Saturday 15 December

Five young soldiers are killing nothing but time as they recover from injuries incurred in the line of duty. Suddenly, their daily routine of TV, lonely hearts ads and banter is shattered by the arrival of a young officer. The camaraderie of this unlikely band of brothers is soon jeopardised by a dangerous incident and an act of betrayal.

With charges of misconduct looming, accusations fly – and the fighting really starts. Fired by anger at the neglect of our wounded heroes, OUR BOYS remains as relevant now as it was in 1993, when it won a Best New Play award.

Cast: Cian Barry, Jolyon Coy, Arthur Darvill, Laurence Fox, Matthew Lewis and Lewis Reeves.

Finally a good feature article about it in the Radio Times:

Am thinking of seeing this in November. Daughter and a friend have good £10 preview seats for later this month, but I can't find myself a deal for a ticket during the main run. Do please alert me if you see any offers! :-)

Will do! I am going as part of the Whatsonstage outing on 9 October. However, I will probably want to go again so will be keeping an eagle eye out for any offers!

Thanks! My masterplan is to go matinee Saturday 24 November, because I'll be in the city to see 55 Days in the evening. Got my ticket for the Hampstead theatre already. :-)

OMG! You are so NOT going to believe this! I have only booked to see 55 days once. But the date that I am going is Saturday 24 November - in the evening - what are the chances of that?!

Well that's brilliant! See you there! Maybe we can even contrive to see Our Boys together in the afternoon too...

Our Boys is a must see. It's brilliant! I've seen it twice and am trying to see if I can fit in at least one more.

"Must see". Totally agree! As you know, I have now seen this (you saw it on the same day!) and I am also going to see it again because Arthur Darvill was not in it the day I got to see it. But I am going to have to leave it awhile before I see it again as it was simply too traumatising to put myself through it again without a decent gap!
