Get underneath the text of Shakespeare’s arch-villain with Globe Education’s series of events exploring Richard III. Suitable for seasoned academics or anyone meeting this play in the theatre for the first time, these events offer a unique Globe insight.

Study Day: Saturday 28 July
Immerse yourself in the play with a day presented by leading experts and practitioners. Following an introductory lecture by Professor Andrew Hadfield (Sussex University) you can then choose between a seminar, or a workshop led by Globe actor Philip Cumbus.

Perspective: Rehearsing Richard : Friday 17 August
Tim Carroll, associate director of the Globe from 1999 to 2005, discusses his approach to directing this season’s production of Richard III, giving behind the scenes insights into the play.
