Cut and pasted from the BBC Website:

Actor David Harewood has just five days to take a group of inner city teenagers and turn them into Shakespearean actors.

David, who starred in the hit television drama Homeland, returns to his old school to select his cast and prepare for a final showcase performance in Stratford-upon-Avon. Can he inspire them to put on a passionate and polished production from one of the Bard's greatest works?

Interesting project. May record it. Will definitely be watching part one of Simon Schama's Shakespeare on at 9pm BBC2 though. :-)

Yes - as I don't keep my eye on TV listings anymore - only theatre! - I missed the Simon Schama which is REALLY stupid cos I LOVE Simon Schama. Anyway, will have to catch it on iPlayer now.

Don't forget to set your recorder for the second part of Simon Schama's Shakespeare next Friday! :-)

Andrew Scott appeared on Simon Schama's Shakespeare.

Which I'm sure you already know, but I just thought I'd mention it anyway.

I do know - 2 people beat you to telling me!

I thought that he was, as ever, innovative and brilliant with the small part that he performed with the camera right up close in his face. So expressive. I hope we see more if him in part two. :-) Also very much enjoyed Roger Allam's contribution.

Damn - I really want to watch this NOW - right this minute - but I need to leave now for the day. Life is SO unfair!
